30x30 Project

     For this project, I made a 30x30x8 starburst castle.  I used gorilla glue to stick starbursts together to form the castle.    My inspiration came from building castles in minecraft.  I have always found the architecture of a castle to be very beautiful and it has always been my go to structure to build in minecraft.
     The issue I struggled with most in the project was getting the glue to harden while maintaining the structure.  Overall though, it was a fun project that helped expand my understanding of working in all 3 dimensions

Stop Animation

This stop animation is based off the concept of how most college kids drink. It is meant to be a lighthearted video that also sheds light on the reality of college kids this day and age. The project was done by hand in a medieval art history book. I then used adobe premiere to create the video. Having some experience in animation, I knew what to expect when making a stop motion animation. The process is very tedious, but when done correctly can create great videos. For my project, I wish I had planned out the animation itself better. The mistakes I did make though feel like they are rookie mistakes and could be fixed easily.

Hi, my name is Eamonn and I am a Senior at The University of Tampa studying Digital Arts. I am taking the Art211 course, Art and Technology, because it is a requirement for my major. I have taken several art history styled classes and am curious as to how the history of art and technology came to be. I expect it to be interesting and challenging. Xerox project

for this project. I xerox copied my forearm and hand serveral times at different sizes to create a project that resembled a tree. The inspiration came from looking at projects online of others who used  body parts to create art. I saw a resemblance between a forearm, hand and a tree. The project was printed on several sheets of 12x18 paper, cut out and glued together to appear like a tree.
